Aggressive Interior Attack Made at Morning Structure Fire

At 10:04 a.m. on February 18, the Colquitt County Fire Department responded to a complaint of a two-story home building fire on Ellenton Norman Park Road. Stations 71, 22, 12, and 21 responded to the incident. The first responding unit reported considerable fire coming from the Charlie-Delta corner of the house. Firefighters launched an aggressive interior attack to put out the fire. During a search of the house, one dog was discovered dead. Colquitt County EMS and the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office assisted on the site. The fire is still under investigation.
