On march 1st at 6:00 pm the Whitehall Fire department and the Catasauqua Fire Department for ladder 2 and Cetronia EMS were dispatched for an apartment building fire at 900 Mickley road at the Helfrich Springs apartment complex in building 5. Deputy 35 arrived on the sene and had smoke showing from a 2nd floor apartment and called for the 2nd alarm. Crews advanced a handline into the apartment and knocked the fire down and did overhaul and ventilation.
