Charlotte Fire & EMS Members Recognized for Lifesaving Care

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL — February 6th — County Administration praised Charlotte County Fire & EMS personnel for their professionalism, quick thinking, and compassion during a recent medical emergency. On July 4, FF/EMT Paul Cruz was at a gathering when a 91-year-old woman stopped responding. He instantly assessed the patient, monitored vital signs, and assured that emergency care was initiated.

On-duty responders, including Lt. Michael Connor, Fire Marshal Cameron Logan, FF/EMT Max Minucci, Fire Marshal Matthew Tricarico, and Fire Marshal Kevin Perez, offered immediate assistance and advanced treatment. Officials stated that the collaborative effort helped guarantee the patient received timely care and is currently recuperating.
