HOLLYWOOD, FL — February 6th — Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety attended a Career Fair at Avant-Garde Academy and met with kids interested in public safety careers. Firefighters addressed questions about their training, everyday responsibilities, and the role of emergency responders in community safety.

Students toured a platform truck and engine, examined equipment, and learned about protective gear and emergency response tools. Officials stated that outreach efforts like this help recruit and establish trust with the next generation. The Hollywood Police Department also participated in the event, providing kids with a broader perspective on coordination among public safety agencies.
