COCONUT CREEK, FL — February 26th — Coconut Creek Fire Rescue sponsored Class XXII of the Citizens' Academy, giving people an inside look into firefighting and emergency response. The event began at the Community Center with a presentation that covered daily operations, response capabilities, and major programs like the Community Emergency Response Team. Participants also took a tour of Fire Station 50, where they learned about the apparatus, equipment, and the role of firefighters in community safety.
