HINESVILLE, GA — January 27th — The Training Division of the Hinesville Fire Department, located at 308 South Commerce St., 31133, recently finished a pressurized container fire control training authorized by the Georgia Fire Academy. Recognizing hazards, managing gas-fed fires, and coordinating strategies for propane and related fuel events were the main topics of the course.

Firefighters practiced size-up, isolation, and safe suppression techniques through practical exercises. Liberty Propane helped create realistic training settings by providing equipment and technical support. According to officials, situations involving pressurized canisters pose particular difficulties and call for close coordination and heightened alertness. To enhance operational readiness, promote firefighter safety, and safeguard the Hinesville community, the department keeps funding cutting-edge training.
