VALDOSTA, GA — January 27th — To improve on-scene preparedness, recruits from the Valdosta Fire Department, located at 106 S Oak St., Valdosta, GA, United States, 31601, recently finished emergency medical response exercises and walkthroughs. Patient evaluation, basic life support, and coordinated treatment in emergency situations were the main topics of instruction.

According to department officials, medical calls account for the majority of many fire departments' responses, even if rescue and fire control are still important objectives. Through realistic scenarios that mirrored everyday operations, crews honed their communication, teamwork, and scene management skills. Ongoing training, according to the agency, helps guarantee that recruits are ready to provide reliable, superior treatment and promote positive outcomes for the Valdosta community.
