ROME, GA — February 9th — The Rome-Floyd Fire Department named Firefighter Rosaleigh Johnson its Employee of the Week, celebrating new members who are making great ties within the department and community. Johnson, who has been serving for four months, graduated from Model High School and has local links to the community she now serves. Officials stated that the Meet the Department Monday event promotes involvement by presenting individuals and sharing their backgrounds with the community. Johnson said she appreciates the ability to serve others and the great camaraderie within the department.
