DAHLONEGA, GA — January 31st — In recognition of their leadership, expertise, and dedication to the organization, Lumpkin County Emergency Services announced the elevation of many personnel to the rank of sergeant. Along with volunteer Sgt. Paul Northrop and Sgt. Stephen Lively, those promoted include B-Shift Sgt. Facundo Colinet, A-Shift Sgt. Jeremy Boldin, and Sgt. Joe Solomon.

Each member received the promotion, according to officials, after years of service, training, and commitment to emergency response and training newer staff. The new sergeants will uphold high standards in both the career and volunteer divisions, improve teamwork, and assist with day-to-day operations. As the department continues to concentrate on operational preparedness, professionalism, and commitment to the Lumpkin County community, leadership development is still a top emphasis.
