On February 3, firefighters in Carnes Creek and New Hope completed their annual Basic Life Support and CPR certification training. The training included high-quality CPR for adults, children, and newborns, as well as AED use, airway obstruction management, and team-based resuscitation. Officials said the hands-on training ensures teams are ready to provide appropriate care for cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Maintaining these certifications is an important aspect of readiness and ensures uniform patient care throughout both departments.
