Crystal River, FL — February 7th — Crystal River Fire Department C-Shift and volunteer personnel recently completed training on rescuing injured people from lofty situations. The hands-on session allowed staff to evaluate the equipment, techniques, and safety protocols required in these specialized activities. Firefighters trained patient packaging, stabilization, and coordinated evacuation from heights to protect the safety of both responders and patients.
