WEST PALM BEACH, FL — January 31st — As part of its Community Risk Reduction initiatives, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, located at 405 Pike Road, West Palm Beach, FL, United States, 33410, held a juvenile driving collision reenactment. The program illustrated the actual effects of severe auto accidents and the synchronized action that emergency services must take.
According to officials, drivers between the ages of 16 and 19 are more likely than older drivers to be involved in deadly collisions. Distracted driving, drunk driving, not wearing seat belts, speeding, and inexperience are common contributing factors. Firefighters shared preventative techniques and encouraged responsible decision-making with local schools and allied agencies. According to department heads, education is still a crucial strategy for lowering collision rates and saving lives.
