This week, Alachua County Fire Rescue personnel completed Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) recertification training, which reinforced important skills required in cardiac and medical emergencies. The course covered high-quality CPR, airway management, team-based resuscitation, and updated standards for providing patient care in the field. The department also welcomed Rory, one of ACFR's K-9s, who gave assistance and boosted morale during the training.
