Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue Hosts CPR and Stop the Bleed Training

Jefferson Hills, PA - On 15 February 2026, Crews from Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue, in partnership with SouthEast Regional EMS, conducted a CPR and Stop the Bleed class at Station 2 for members of the Filipino American Association of Pittsburgh.


Over several hours, 15 participants received classroom instruction and hands-on training covering CPR for adults, children, and infants; recognition of cardiac arrest; proper use of an AED; and critical hemorrhage control techniques, including tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure. The session concluded with a realistic, scenario-based exercise that allowed participants to apply their skills in a simulated emergency environment.
