Crystal River Crews Respond to Semi-Truck Crash on U.S. 19

On February 4, Crystal River Fire Rescue's B-Shift personnel responded to a crash between a semi-truck and a pickup truck at the intersection of US 19 and SE Kings Bay Drive. Truck 1 came to help EMS and the Citrus County Sheriff's Office with patient care and scene safety. The event caused minor injuries, and CCFR EMS transferred one patient to a local hospital for evaluation. Firefighters secured the scene, controlled hazards, and directed traffic until the road was free. The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
