Hamilton County EMA programs Weather Radios with Local Media

The week of February 20-26th is Tennessee Severe Weather Awareness Week. During this week, Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management partnered with Local 3 News to program weather radios at the Elders Ace Hardware in Chattanooga, TN. Chattanoogans were ready to get "WEATHER PREPARED" by purchasing a weather radio or bringing in their older models to be reprogrammed. Our goal is to make sure our residents have THREE sources of receiving Emergency Weather notifications consisting of a weather radio, mobile weather apps and local media outlets.
