Indian River Crews Complete ARFF Training

On February 2nd, Indian River County Fire Rescue partnered with Vero Beach Regional Airport to perform Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) training with crews. The annual training focused on preparing people for aircraft-related situations by employing specialist equipment and handline-based techniques. Firefighters practiced realistic scenarios intended to improve cooperation, communication, and operational readiness during aviation situations.
