CATOOSA, GEORGIA — February 19th —Catoosa County Fire Department welcomed its newest firefighters after completing the department's 11-week recruit training program. Sara Friar, Logan Goldsmith, Mason Lillard, and Braxton McDonald have been assigned to stations after earning their Georgia NPQ Firefighter I certification.

The agency also performed an Oath of Office Ceremony, which included new recruits, freshly hired professionals, and a promoted officer. FAO Justin Frey, FAO Chris Geisler, Firefighter Lee Gratz, FAO Gage Mathews, Firefighter Coy Miller, FAO Toby Ratcliff, and Isiah Pierce, together with recently promoted Lieutenant Daniel Hyde, took their oath before Chairman Henry.
