On February 12, the Richmond Hill Fire Department's crews participated in a high-intensity training practice aimed at improving air management and physical endurance. Firefighters played basketball while wearing full turnout gear and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), establishing a controlled setting that replicated the physical and respiratory demands seen during emergency operations. The drill aimed to increase endurance, improve situational awareness, and reinforce good breathing patterns under stress.
