Hollywood Fire Rescue Supports Inclusion at My Hollywood Pride

HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA — January 25th — Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety attended the My Hollywood Pride event alongside city leaders, community partners, and citizens, emphasizing the department's continued commitment to inclusion, connection, and public engagement. Chief Levy, command staff members, the Fire Prevention Bureau, and the Mobile Integrated Health Unit joined the Hollywood Police Department.

The gathering also included Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Mayor Josh Levy, and Commissioners Caryl Shuham and Idelma Quintana. Firefighters and staff spoke with participants, sharing safety information and strengthening ties to promote community risk reduction and confidence. The Miami Dolphins and Florida Panthers mascots attended the event, attracting families and fostering positive engagement with first responders.
