POOLER, GA — Pooler Fire-Rescue firefighters went to a reported working structure fire in Bloomingdale on Monday afternoon, February 16th, as a mutual assistance call. Truck 601, Engine 601, Battalion 601, and Chief 601 were dispatched to respond. Upon arrival, firefighters assisted firefighting operations, conducted primary searches, and performed vertical ventilation to improve conditions inside the structure. Firefighters collaborated with Bloomingdale units to put the fire under control and minimize additional damage. After the fire was contained, companies completed overhaul operations to look for any residual hot spots. All Pooler units later cleared the scene and returned to service in the city.
