Pooler Fire-Rescue released its January 2026 response statistics, reporting a total of 474 calls for service that month. The majority of responses were for emergency medical occurrences, with 288 in total. Firefighters also responded to 44 motor vehicle crashes, 115 alarms and other service calls, five technical rescue events, and 22 fires, including seven structure fires.
Department officials stated that, while phone volume was somewhat lower than in December 2025, the department is currently 7.7 percent ahead of the same time of last year.
