TOCCOA, GA — February 2nd — At the Carnes Creek Fire Department, located at 1037 Wards Circle and 929 Mize Road, firefighters from the New Hope and Carnes Creek Fire Departments finished their yearly Basic Life Support and CPR recertification. AED operation, airway obstruction management, coordinated team-based resuscitation, and high-quality CPR for adults, children, and newborns were all covered in the training. In order to assist firemen in effectively providing care during cardiac and respiratory emergencies, the training adhered to current national requirements. In order to enhance communication, patient evaluation, and emergency scene reaction, crews also rehearsed practical scenarios. Given that many calls involve medical crises, department officials stated that ongoing medical training is still essential. In the communities they serve, the refresher helps make sure firemen are prepared to provide prompt, coordinated care and enhance patient outcomes.
