Andover Fire Rescue Responds to Vehicle Rollover on I-93 North

February 17, 2026 — Andover Fire Rescue was dispatched to Interstate 93 North at Dascomb Road for a reported vehicle rollover with entrapment during the evening commute.
First-arriving companies found a heavily damaged vehicle resting on the roadway with one occupant trapped inside. Firefighters immediately secured the vehicle, controlled hazards, and established a safe work zone amid active traffic conditions.
Rescue crews deployed hydraulic extrication tools to remove portions of the vehicle and create access to the patient. Working in coordination with on-scene EMS providers, firefighters carefully disentangled and extricated the occupant from the vehicle.
Following removal, the patient was evaluated and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further care.
Firefighters remained on scene to assist with fluid containment, debris removal, and ensuring the vehicle was safe prior to clearing.
