UNION COUNTY, GA — February 12th — A brush fire that spread to a nearby building was responded to by Union County Fire/Rescue & EMA, located at 507 Shoe Factory Rd, 30512. All stations sent firefighters and equipment, and the Georgia Forestry Commission provided assistance. In dry weather, crews concentrated on containment, exposure protection, and stopping additional spread.
