THOMASTON, GA — February 17th — In order to strengthen coordination between ground and air medical services, the Thomaston Fire Department, located at 615 North Church Street, Thomaston, GA, 30286, collaborated with Upson County's Air Evac Lifeteam 185 during a recent medical response. In emergency situations, joint operations shorten transit times and enhance patient care. Crews prioritized safe landing zone operations, communication, and patient stabilization.

Strong collaborations between air medical professionals and local responders are encouraged by national emergency medical guidelines, particularly in rural locations where access to sophisticated care may be restricted. According to officials, shared response experience, cooperative training, and ongoing cooperation improve safety and preparedness. These initiatives support an efficient regional emergency medical system and guarantee that patients receive timely advanced care.
