The Douglas County Fire/EMS Department welcomed Cub Scout Pack 62 to Station 1 for a community outreach and fire safety education tour. Scouts toured the station, inspected fire apparatus, and learned about the daily responsibilities of firefighters and emergency medical personnel. During the visit, the group asked questions about training, equipment, and emergency response. Fire officials said these interactions help children better understand public safety and the importance of prevention and preparedness.
