KEY LARGO, FL — January 30th — Key Largo Fire Department firefighters spent time in the classroom this week, visiting children at Key Largo School as part of a community engagement initiative. Crews exchanged turnout gear for books, read stories, and interacted with students in a comfortable environment.
The tour aimed to foster strong relationships and encourage early linkages between young residents and their local fire service. According to fire officials, these visits also provide an opportunity to convey fundamental fire safety awareness in an age-appropriate manner.
