Mutual Aid Supports Structure Response

EASTANOLLEE, GA — January 19th — A reported structure fire off Shorewood Circle prompted the Eastanollee Fire Department, located in Eastanollee, GA, USA. When crews arrived, they discovered active fire conditions. They promptly set up attack lines to start suppressing the fire and stop it from spreading.


The Martin Fire Department and the Big Smith Fire Department offered mutual aid. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, coordinated activities, and finished a primary search. There were no reported injuries. The tragedy demonstrated the importance of well-coordinated responses and solid mutual aid partnerships. To increase safety and early warning in the event of an emergency, officials are still reminding homeowners to keep their smoke alarms in working order and to plan their escape routes.
