ENGLEWOOD, FL — January 19th — In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Englewood Area Fire Control District, located at 579 S. Indiana Ave., Englewood, FL, USA, declared that its administrative office will be closed. All stations will be manned and prepared to handle calls throughout the district, ensuring uninterrupted emergency services.

In addition to celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy, the national holiday encourages community service, volunteerism, and involvement. Across the country, public safety organizations commemorate the day while remaining well prepared for operations. The district invites citizens to consider the value of service in creating better communities while concentrating on safety and readiness. "Everyone can be great, because everybody can serve," as Dr. King once stated.
