Two-Car Crash on Route 300 in Newburgh Sends One to Hospital

NEWBURGH, NY - Cronomer Valley Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on State Route 300 and Forest Road on February 19th. Town of Newburgh Police and Town of Newburgh EMS were also on scene. Firefighters checked both vehicles for hazards and, under the direction of police, moved the vehicles off the roadway. Town of Newburgh EMS transported one driver to Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital. Firefighters then swept debris from the roadway to reopen traffic. New York State Police assisted with traffic control. The Town of Newburgh Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
