February 17, 2026 – Coconut Creek Fire Rescue joined community partners at Tradewinds Elementary School for its First Responder Appreciation Day, held as part of the school’s “Day of Service & Love” celebration last Friday. Firefighters and law enforcement officers visited classrooms, interacted with students, and were warmly welcomed by staff and children alike. The event provided an opportunity for students to personally thank the men and women who serve and protect their community, while first responders shared positive engagement and meaningful conversations with the young learners. The appreciation day highlighted the strong partnership between Coconut Creek Fire Rescue, local law enforcement, and Tradewinds Elementary, reinforcing the importance of community connection and mutual respect.
