Alachua County Fire Rescue concluded its annual live fire training in January, giving participants hands-on experience to improve operational readiness and community safety. The training concentrated on three crucial aspects for firefighting performance and safety. Crews trained forcible entry procedures to strengthen their ability to gain entrance in an emergency. Search and rescue evolutions were conducted to enhance locating and assisting occupants in challenging environments. Firefighters also practiced radio communication, which improved coordination and teamwork during high-pressure situations.
