Skyline Fire Rescue Conducts Hose and Pump Training

MILTON, FL — February 3rd — Skyline Fire Rescue, 6924 Highway 87 N, Milton, FL, conducted a Tuesday training session focused on hose deployment, hose operations, and pump time for driver/operators. In order to increase efficiency, speed, and cooperation during fireground operations, firefighters practiced a number of scenarios. While driver/operators went over pump setup, water supply, and maintaining adequate pressure, crews tried extending and advancing hose lines in various scenarios.


It was also stressed that crews and apparatus operators should communicate with one other. The session reinforced standard operating procedures and safe practices used during structure fires and mutual aid responses. Frequent training guarantees that Skyline Fire Rescue can deliver dependable and efficient service to the neighborhood and nearby response areas while also assisting members in maintaining preparedness.
