Morrow Firefighter Makes Department History

The City of Morrow Fire Department recognized Firefighter Meagan Ball for achieving the rank of Firefighter III, becoming the first woman in department history to earn this certification. She was formally presented with her new helmet shield during a recent ceremony. The Firefighter III level requires a minimum of 200 hours of classroom and hands-on training through the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth. Officials said Ball also traveled to several partner agencies to complete advanced requirements, strengthening her operational knowledge and skills.
