The Woodstock Fire Department honored Master Firefighter Dave Sargenski for winning the 2025 David Gray Memorial Firefighter Leadership Award during Georgia's Firefighter Recognition Day at the State Capitol. The Georgia State Firefighters Association presents the award to firefighters who display outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to the fire service.

Governor Brian Kemp also gave Sargenski a formal citation for his work and services. Since entering the fire department in 2009, he has established himself as a consistent and dependable leader. A U.S. Army veteran, he is known for mentoring firefighters, supporting new members, and helping build a culture of teamwork and readiness.
