North Port Hosts Hands-Only CPR Training

NORTH PORT, FL — January 17th — Station 86 hosted a successful hands-on CPR training session, according to North Port Fire Rescue, 4980 City Center Boulevard, 34286, which reported the event. Attendees learned how to identify abrupt cardiac arrest, dial 911, and perform chest compressions until help arrives. The seminar, which was led by firefighters and emergency medical services, focused on the value of bystander response and early intervention.


National public safety organizations claim that performing CPR right away during cardiac emergencies can greatly increase survival rates. Public engagement and education continue to be top goals, according to department officials. Such gatherings assist quicker care before first responders arrive and enhance community readiness.
