ORANGE, CA - On Feb 09 at approximately 12:30AM on the 2000 block of North Batavia in the city of Orange a fire broke out at a large foam production company. Flames and smoke could be seen for several miles. The fire spread to several yards which threatened other buildings nearby. The incident was soon upgraded to a four alarm fire. Evacuations were necessary at neighboring businesses and initiated by fire crews. Several explosions took place as propane tanks were superheated. It took fire crews from City of Orange, Anaheim, OCFA and Fullerton over an hour and a half to control the blaze and call for a knock down. No injuries were reported.
