At a few minutes after 1600 hours on February 16, 2026, Cherry Hill Ladder Company 1324 and Engine Company 13-5 were dispatched to a vehicle fire on Rt. 70 at Cuthbert Blvd in Cherry Hill, NJ. Ladder 1324 was first to arrive and had a small school bus on fire. They took a position to block the traffic lane and protect the incoming engine company while operating. Engine 13-5 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4" hose line and extinguished the fire. The driver of the school bus apparently experienced a problem with the bus and pulled over to the shoulder of Rt. 70 which is a busy roadway, especially during rush hour. Reportedly, there were no children on the school bus and no injuries were reported.
