On January 20th, the Ronkonkoma fire department was activated for a reported house fire on Avenue Court. 5-24-32 arrived on scene and found a small electrical fire on the side of the house. Upon additional investigation, fire was found in the attic and first and second floors, and the working fire was reactivated. 5-24-12 arrived on scene, stretched 2 lines and started extinguishing fire. 5-24-11 arrived on scene with mutual aid, helped extinguish the fire and started primary searches. The scene was placed under control within 2 hours.
