Ashburnham Battles Three-Alarm House Fire

ASHBURNHAM, MA - At 5:35 A.M. on February 9th, the Ashburnham MA fire department was dispatched to a reported house fire at 23 Chapel Street.
When the police arrived, they reported the house to be fully involved. The first Ashburnham FD units on the scene immediately transmitted a second-alarm, bringing in mutual aid companies from Gardner, Ashby, Winchendon, Fitchburg, and Westminster.
An additional alarm was transmitted for manpower, bringing Leominster, Lunenburg, Townsend, and Templeton for additional assistance. There were no injuries, and the fire is under investigation by the District 8 fire investigation team.
