Marion Body Works Promotes Kevin Ignacio to Vice President
Marion, WI - Marion Body Works, a leading national manufacturer of fire & emergency apparatus, commercial truck bodies, custom cabs, custom engineered vehicles and defense bodies, is excited to announce Kevin Ignacio’s promotion to Vice President.
Integrating Ignacio into the executive level of leadership embraces the great ideas of another generation with consideration of the company’s culture and values. “The succession plan at Marion Body Works was established decades ago to secure the longevity of our family-owned business for generations to come.” said Curt Ignacio, President and CEO of Marion Body Works. “We have a responsibility to our customers, employees, and our community and we’ll continue to make strategic choices that honor that responsibility.”
After graduating from the University of Georgia with degrees in Finance and Sports Management, Kevin held sales and finance positions for several years with Techtronic Industries and, most recently, Ally Financial. Ignacio’s prior sales and finance experience, in addition to his years of involvement on Marion Body Works’ Board of Directors, equipped him with the knowledge to hit the ground running when he joined Marion full-time in early 2020 as Director of Business Development. The transition to Vice President is a natural next step given Ignacio’s success leading various facets of the business and driving commercial sales resulting in the company’s largest and healthiest backlog to date.
“I’m proud to work alongside the talented and dedicated team at Marion Body Works every day. It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of the team that upholds the tradition of quality that Marion Body Works was founded on over 115 years ago. The future of Marion Body Works is bright for years and years to come.” said Kevin Ignacio.
