Framingham Crews Contain School Bus Fire

FRAMINGHAM, MA — January 19th — When crews from the Framingham Fire Department, located at 10 Loring Drive, arrived at the scene of a reported fire at the Framingham bus yard, located at 186 Fountain St., they discovered that one school bus was completely destroyed and that the fire had spread to three other surrounding vehicles. In order to save more vehicles and property from being damaged, firefighters swiftly put out multiple hose lines and sought to contain the fire.


There were no reported injuries. The Framingham Public School District makes use of the buses. Strong staffing, quick reaction, and well-coordinated fireground activities, according to officials, helped stop the spread. The Massachusetts State incident Marshal's Office and the Framingham Fire Department are still looking into what caused the incident. According to preliminary investigations, the occurrence doesn't seem suspicious.
