WALWORTH, NY — January 19th — In order to strengthen firefighter responsibility and preparedness, members of Lincoln Fire Rescue, located at 719 Plank Road, conducted a Monday night practice that centered on timed PPE donning and air consumption. In order to enhance response speeds and the safe use of self-contained breathing apparatus during emergency operations, crews finished timed evolutions.

A team-building exercise called "Hockey Night" was also incorporated into the training, emphasizing the value of cooperation and a solid corporate culture in the volunteer fire service. The practice began with a ceremonial puck drop by department leadership. Regular weekly training, according to officials, improves cooperation and morale while ensuring that members are ready for situations like structural fires. Operational readiness and safe, efficient community service are supported by ongoing drills.
