Mutual Aid Covers Cambridge During Incident

CAMBRIDGE, MA — January 19th — A two-and-a-half-story wood-frame house at Box 45-361 at 80 Pleasant Street was the subject of a working fire ordered by the Cambridge, Massachusetts Fire Department, 491 Broadway, Cambridge, MA, United States, 02138. While teams evacuated people, conducted searches, ventilated the building, and started overhaul, companies set up water supplies and advanced attack lines.


In an effort to contain the main body of fire, Engine 6 extended the first line. Many locals were forced to relocate. There were no reported injuries. The cause is still being looked into. Group 2 had Divisions 1 and 2, Squads 2 and 3, Rescue 1, Ladders 3, 1, and 2, Engines 6, 2, 5, and 1. Inspectional Services, Pro EMS, and Cambridge Police provided assistance. During the incident, Somerville Fire supplied station coverage.
