Newburgh FD was dispatched to a Garage Fire at 1 Warden Circle on February 13. Newburgh Command requested second alarm,flames and black smoke was coming from garage area of the residence then spread to residence. Air Guard, West Point and Coldenham FD responded to scene, Newburgh hit hydrant off of Memorial Drive and it was frozen, additional units stretched hoses to other hydrants, firefighters used hand lines and ground ladders. One firefighter was removed by Mobile Life ALS and transported to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital . Central Hudson was called to scene for power cut. City of Newburgh Police blocked entrance off West Street. Fire is under investigation.
