WINDHAM, ME — February 8th — Cumberland Tower 107, Engine 102, and Ambulance 104 responded to a reported structure fire on Forest Avenue in Windham around 3:32 a.m. Cumberland Car 2 came first and reported a fire in the walls surrounding a chimney, requiring an all-hands response. Tower 107 extinguished the fire with a 1¾-inch handline and approximately 150 gallons of water. Windham Squad 27 set up a feeder pipe to supply water. Crews worked for just over an hour, executing an overhaul to ensure complete extinguishment. There were no injuries recorded.
