Staten Island, NY - Firefighters responded to 250 Elverton Ave. at 23:30 Hours on January 30th to a 2.5 story private dwelling with fire throughout. FDNY members were operating on the 4 side of the building when there was a total collapse. Maydays were transmitted and members escaped from the collapse without injury. Exterior operations were then instituted. There were 2 civilians injured and 2 members were sent to the hospital, all with minor injuries.
