January 7, 2026 —On Wednesday evening, the Bay Shore Fire Department formally swore in its chiefs for the 2026 year during a ceremony conducted by Bay Shore Fire District Chairman of the Board, Commissioner Arnold. The event marked the official appointment of Chief of Department John Ippolito, 1st Assistant Chief Nick Danza, and 2nd Assistant Chief Kyle Voges.
