Milton, MA — January 17th — After Brother Franklin's death, Boston Firefighters Local 718 IAFF and the Franklin family received condolences from Milton Fire Local 1116, located at 515 Canton Avenue. The whole fire service community has acknowledged the loss, and during times of grieving, departments and residents continue to support one another.

Messages of support have mirrored the strong ties that firefighters frequently develop that transcend departmental boundaries. Brother Franklin's work and dedication throughout his career have been honored by fire departments and unions throughout the region. Along with others, Milton Fire Local 1116 paid tribute to him and provided ongoing assistance to his family, coworkers, and fellow firefighters throughout this trying time.
